Four Indian Athlete makes it to world top 30 list of 2015
Lalita Babar and Vikas Gowda being the top Indian athlete in the world top list of 2015. Vikas Gowda ranked highest Men athlete with 16th rank in Discus Throw and Lalita Babar ranked highest Women athlete with 19th rank in 3000m Steeplechase.
Vikas came his best performance of 65.75m in a competition atthe Olympic training centre in San Diego, USA, early in April. Whereas Lalita Babar achieved the mark by clocking 9:27.86s in 3000m Steeplechase heats at IAAF World Championship, Beijing in August. She finished 8th in her event being the top ranked athlete from India in the World Championships 2015.
This time four Indian athletes are in world top 30 list of 2015. Shotputter Inderjeet Singh ranked 24th with his best performance of 20.65m achieve at Federation Cup in Mangalore in May. Women shotputter Manpreet Kaur ranked 30th with her best performance of 17.96m at National Open in Kolkata in September.
A total of 26 Indian athletes including 17 Male and 9 Female are featured in world top 100 list of 2015.
