World Athletics and Asian Athletics Association have appointed Athletics Federation of Pakistan President Maj. Gen. Akram Sahi (retd.) as their observer for the Athletics Federation of India annual general meeting to be held in Gurgaon this weekend. Maj. Gen. Akram Sahi will attend the meeting via a video conference facility.
Among other things, the AFI annual general meeting will see the elections of office-bearers and other positions in the Executive Council. Besides, the meeting will discuss the revised calendar and the impact of Covid-19 on athletes and athletics activities as well as finalist the Standard Operating Procedure for the conduct of the National Championships.
